Shipping

1.            The cost of delivery is included in our pricing.

2.            We send out all monthly subscriptions with Australia Post. You or your loved one should expect to receive a new book by the 10th of every month. Your subscription will commence the month after your order is placed, provided you make the order by the 27th of the month. In other words, if your order is placed on the 26th of the month, your first book will arrive by the 10th of the next month (and usually earlier!). Alternatively, if your order is placed on or after the 28th of the month, you may be required to wait a little over a month for your first book.

3.            If you or your loved one live outside of Australia, please feel free to contact us to receive an international postage quote.

4.            Literati will deliver to the address you specify for delivery through the checkout process – please make sure it is accurate. If it is not, the delivery of any replacement item may need to be covered by the buyer. We will not accept any liability for any loss or damage to the goods once they have been delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions. Any change in address for future deliveries must be provided at least one month in advance by emailing us at team@literatibookclub.com.au.

5.            If a parcel is returned to Literati because it has not been collected in time, or an incorrect address entered at the time of order results in non-delivery, an additional shipping charge of $6 will apply to have the item re-shipped.

6.            Literati will aim to deliver the goods by the date quoted on this website, but delivery times are not guaranteed. If delivery is delayed due to any cause beyond our reasonable control, the delivery date may be extended by a reasonable period. If you do not get a book when you expect it, please email team@literatibookclub.com.au and Literati will gladly check this out for you.

Returns, Refunds & Cancellation

7.            All subscriptions, other than gift subscriptions, may be cancelled at any time. You may cancel through your account on www.literatibookclub.com.au or by emailing us at team@literatibookclub.com.au.

8.            At this stage we do not offer refunds for change of mind or in circumstances where you already own the book. We encourage you to share the love by gifting the unwanted book to a friend or family member. If you are unable to do so during the COVID lockdown period, we understand – email us at team@literatibookclub.com.au and we will sort out a solution.

9.            If your book arrives damaged, in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law, we will replace it for you as quickly as possible – please send us a photo at team@literatibookclub.com.au showing the damage.

Gift Voucher Terms & Conditions

10.         Literati Gift Subscriptions (Gift Subscriptions) entitle the recipient (Recipient) to goods/services equal to the value stated on the invoice relating to the relevant Gift Subscription provided to the purchaser (Gift Purchaser) on check out.

11.         Where a Gift Subscription is purchased, the first or only book, as applicable, will be sent to the recipient in the next month's Literati circulation.

12.         If a Gift Recipient would like to delay the start month of the gift subscription, no problem – please email us at team@literatibookclub.com.au and we will apply this.

13.         If a Recipient of a 3, 6 or 12 month Gift Subscription, after receiving the first month's book, would like to delay the month of receipt of the following month's book, it may email us at team@literatibookclub.com.au and we will apply this.

14.         Gift Subscriptions may not be exchanged (wholly or partly) for cash.

15.         Please note that Gift Subscriptions cannot be cancelled or refunded as they are prepaid in full. However we will happily switch your gift subscription's stream between classics, non-fiction and fiction as desired.
